Explorers should be green by default because we have had issues in the past with people coming to photograph or something and getting downed minutes after they arrived even though they never had any intention to rp. If the Amazon is going to allow and encourage people to come for the scenery with no rp necessary then it should be safe for them.

Lots of people come here wanting to experience the amazon..  you dont know how many walk into the bandit camp wanting to engage fully and cant because their dots are green. plus, if the big thing here is experience.. why start them out in an unrealistic way.. Add to that, lots of the rogue rp is in its interactions with Explorers... we always rp and we intimidate and scare.. we dont keep or torture the new players, but we done give them a taste of the underside of the amazon.

I think we have seen this and unless we intend to do away with combat altogether, making a person wait until they meet a seeker to be competitive will be very discouraging. Seekers are not so easy to find, especially when you are new and don't really know who you are looking for.

I also find it to be OOC when people request healers in Amazon River chat. If I am not doing anything I'll respond..but Im not going to leave an rp for it.
